The Los Angeles Rams underwent significant changes to their coaching staff after Raheem Morris departed to assume the head coaching position with the Atlanta Falcons, taking several of Sean McVay’s assistant coaches along with him. This departure created opportunities for both new faces from within and outside the organization to step in. Among these changes, L.A. may have made their most significant coaching acquisition of the offseason in John Streicher.

Streicher has built a notable reputation in the NFL through his tenure with the Tennessee Titans under head coach Mike Vrabel over the past six seasons. He initially joined the Titans in 2018 when Vrabel appointed him as his assistant head coach. After serving in that capacity for two seasons, Streicher was promoted to coordinator of football before the 2020 season, a role he held for three seasons. In a noteworthy development, Streicher had the opportunity to serve as the head coach for a preseason game in 2021 when Vrabel was unavailable due to COVID-related reasons.
