Over the past few seasons, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has become one of the league’s newest talents and elevated his team to the top of the Western Conference.

Tuesday, the Thunder defeated the reliable Orlando Magic 127-113 while playing on the road. They regained control in the third quarter, with Gilgeous-Alexander scoring 32 points, dishing out five assists, stealing two steals, and blocking one shot in addition to Jalen Williams’ 33 points.Gilgeous-Alexander is shooting 37.1 percent from three-point range and 54.6 percent from the field this season while averaging 31.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game. Reaching the free throw line and making the basket are two of his best attributes; he averages 9.1 attempts per game from the charity stripe and converts 88.3 percent of them.

However, he’s also becoming into a formidable opponent. With 2.2 steals per game and 0.9 blocks per game, the 6-foot-6, 25-year-old is leading the NBA. This is impressive for a guard, especially one under 200 pounds.
