Formal applications have not yet been initiated by NRL clubs for participation in the upcoming games in Las Vegas. However, it is anticipated that six clubs will exhibit significant interest in embarking on the journey to the other side of the globe.

According to reports from The Sydney Morning Herald, among those keenly interested are the Manly Sea Eagles and Sydney Roosters, both of whom secured victories in a double-header over the weekend, marking the inauguration of the NRL season in historic fashion. The matches were witnessed by approximately 40,000 spectators at Allegiant Stadium.

Nevertheless, current indications suggest that the Sea Eagles and Roosters may encounter obstacles in their bid to return to the USA for the games.

Both the NRL and the Australian Rugby League Commission have previously expressed their intent for all 17 existing teams, as well as potential expansion franchises, to have an opportunity to participate in Las Vegas over the designated five-year period during which games will be held there.
