Everton has faced well-documented financial difficulties, grappling with deductions and stringent Premier League regulations that have hampered their spending capabilities. Despite these challenges, Sean Dyche’s managerial prowess has guided the Toffees to safety in the Premier League, highlighted by a pivotal 2-0 victory over Liverpool. According to TEAMTalk, Everton finds itself compelled to offload at least one major asset before June 30 to balance their financial ledger and avoid further penalties. Midfielder Amadou Onana and center-back Jarrad Branthwaite are cited as potential departures due to their significant market value.

In a bid to strengthen the squad within budget constraints, Everton is revisiting its interest in Boulaye Dia from Salernitana. Previously deemed financially unattainable, Dia has now become available for a reduced fee following Salernitana’s relegation and plans for a squad overhaul. Corriere dello Sport reports that the 27-year-old striker, who has scored four goals this season after a more prolific campaign last year with 16 goals, has fallen out with the club, potentially facilitating Everton’s pursuit at a bargain price.
