After the Round 15 game against the Broncos, Rabbitohs players Richie Kennar and Latrell Mitchell have been cited by the NRL’s Match Review Committee.
Kennar has been charged with a grade one careless high tackle. Since this is his first offence of this type, he can accept a $1,000 fine with an early guilty plea. If he does not plead early and is found guilty, the fine will be $1,500, while a not guilty verdict carries no penalty. Both Kennar and Mitchell have opted for early guilty pleas and will pay their respective fines.
