Good news:Miami Dolphins sign the veteran sensational all star offensive lineman from…
|Former Auburn offensive tackle Jack Driscoll has been blocking for former Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts with the Philadelphia Eagles. Now he’ll be blocking for former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa with the Miami Dolphins.
The Dolphins announced on Monday that they had signed Driscoll, who became an NFL unrestricted free agent on Wednesday after four seasons with the Eagles.
Driscoll’s signing continues an active offseason for Miami with offensive linemen. The Dolphins had problems keeping their offensive linemen on the field during the 2023 season. Right tackle Austin Jackson was the only Miami offensive lineman to play at least 75 percent of the snaps during the regular season, and even Jackson missed a game.
Driscoll joined Philadelphia in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He’s played in 54 regular-season and four playoff games with 17 starts.
The Dolphins are counting on Jackson and five-time Pro Bowler Armstead at the tackle spots for 2024. Also returning are Cotton, Eichenberg and Jones along with Wynn, who was re-signed after reaching free agency.
